World Investments, Inc., based in Omaha, Nebraska, is a wholly owned subsidiary of
the Omaha World-Herald Company, formed to make and manage investments in early stage
and expansion stage growth companies. Since its formation in 1987, World Investments
has invested primarily in companies in the technology, communications, and marketing
industries.
Philosophy
As an alternative source of venture capital, World Investments looks to provide
entrepreneurs in the Midwest with an opportunity to raise capital with a local company.
